Nancy Fletcher is retiring as president and CEO of the $4.8M-revenue Out of Home Advertising Association of America at the end of 2019, after leading the group since 1991. The group recently changed its name from Outdoor Advertising Association of America.
OAAA said in a statement that Fletcher oversaw the tripling of revenue in the outdoor advertising industry, digital transformation, successful congressional lobbying and the growth of formats beyond billboards. The industry has posted “gains in each of the last 34 consecutive quarters,” the group said.
Fletcher began working for Naegele Outdoor Advertising in Minneapolis in 1978, and was a lobbyist to the Minnesota state legislature.
