When Michelle Korsmo, CEO of the $13 million-revenue American Land Title Association, becomes CEO of the Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America in September, she will be running a group with a similar budget but a higher public profile and heavier political involvement.

The $11 million-revenue WSWA announced July 19 that Korsmo would be its new leader, filling a vacancy created when former CEO Craig Wolf left in June to run for Maryland attorney general as a Republican.

Wine and spirits tend to roll off the tongue a little easier than land title.
