Two-time association leader Diane Tomb will become CEO of the American Land Title Association July 1. She succeeds Michelle Korsmo, who stepped down in September 2018 to become head of Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America.

Tomb has been executive director of the National Rental Home Council since September 2016. She was CEO of the National Association of Women Business Owners from 2011 to 2013. She also was assistant secretary of public affairs at the Department of Housing and Urban Development during the administration of President George W. Bush as well as a senior executive at the Fannie Mae Foundation.

In an interview with CEO Update, Tomb pointed to her previous experience working with different segments of the housing industry as one reason why she decided to join the $10 million-revenue ALTA, which represents more than 6,300 title insurance companies.
