Archey Leaving AeA in 2008, Search Under Way

The Board of Directors
of electronics association AeA announced that president William “Bill”
T. Archey plans to retire in Feb. 2008 after 13 years at the helm. 
Recruitment firm Korn/Ferry International is handling the search for
his replacement at the $16.9 million revenue group.

The American Petroleum Institute was looking for an opportunity to weigh in on discussions about sustainable energy and alternative fuel sources. To get around a negative public perception of the petroleum industry, API created EnergyTomorrow.org, a secondary website for this public outreach effort.
