IHRSA taps Clark as CEO
The $15M-revenue IHRSA, The Global Health & Fitness Association has named candy industry lobbyist Liz Clark CEO, effective Aug. 16. Clark becomes just the third CEO in the 40-year history of the Boston-based organization, formerly known as the International Health, Racquet and Sportsclub Association.
Clark has led government relations and advocacy for the National Confectioners Association since 2011. She is credited with successfully lobbying the Trump administration to deem confection manufacturing essential during the pandemic. She previously worked at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
