Obesity Medicine Association hires Fraker
The Obesity Medicine Association has named Teresa Fraker executive director, effective Oct. 25.
Fraker joins OMA from the Chicago-based American College of Surgeons, where she spent eight years as program administrator for the metabolic and bariatric surgery and quality improvement program. She was previously director of Genesis Health System.
Fraker has a master’s degree in health services administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet, Ill. She started her career as a hospital staff nurse.
The association is based near Denver, Colo., and reported revenue of $4M in 2019.
