Susan Robertson, ASAE’s longtime executive vice president recently elevated to CEO, albeit temporarily, will lead the group for association professionals in its 100th anniversary year and help develop the strategic plan to begin the next century.
“We’re pivoting toward the next 100 years of associations and all the great work that they do,” she told CEO Update. “This is a great opportunity to make sure ASAE is stronger and more prepared to tell that story.”
ASAE named Robertson interim CEO in June after John Graham, CEO since 2003, stepped aside to battle cancer. Graham died in January. The group’s latest move removes the interim label, but maintains Robertson’s temporary status.
