In summer reading, association CEOs study how to be better leaders

Summer is often a time for catching up on reading, and for well-motivated association executives, it’s also a time for lessons on leadership.
The Association of Children’s Museums’ board of directors started a book club last fall, said Executive Director Laura Huerta Migus, with everyone agreeing to read the same book. After first tackling a research article on association governance, the board chose to read “Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less” by Greg McKeown.
