Putting on a podcast

Podcasts are booming in popularity and associations are taking notice. Along with episodes of top-ranked “This American Life,” listeners can stream or download programs produced by associations, including “AMA Doc Talk,” “The Business of Travel” and the “NSSGA Podcast.” 

“I think it is really important for associations to constantly be looking for new ways to reach our members, to keep them interested and engaged, and we think this is a great new tool for us,” said Mike Johnson, CEO of the National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association. “Our members can get a deeper dive and get a better understanding of our industry, from how to best impact public policy … to lessening workplace injuries.”
