New board leaders at Bryce Harlow Foundation

Several association executives joined the board or stepped into new roles at the Bryce Harlow Foundation, which promotes integrity in the lobbying profession. Katherine Lugar, CEO of the American Beverage Association, was named chair. David French, senior vice president of government relations at the National Retail Federation, was named secretary/treasurer.

Executives joining the board for three-year terms include Francis Creighton, CEO of the Consumer Data Industry Association, and Linda Bauer Darr, CEO of the American Council of Engineering Companies. Kevin Burke, CEO of Airports Council International-North America, joined the board as an emeritus governor for a one-year term.

The foundation’s annual awards dinner on April 29 will honor Dawn Sweeney, former CEO of the National Restaurant Association, with the Business-Government Relations Award.
