Senior Staff Appointments: March 1, 2007

The U.S. Chamber of Commerce added to the responsibilities of Raymond P. Towle, IOM, CAE by naming him vice president of the Institute for Organization Management.  Towle will continue his duties as executive director of programs, products and services for the federation relations division.
Previously, J.P. Moery, CAE, senior vice president, federation relations, and Towle jointly managed the institute, with Moery overseeing the program’s overall development and Towle managing day-to-day operations.  In this new position, Towle will manage all aspects of the institute.
Earlier in his career, Towle held positions at the American Society of Association Executives as vice president of member relations, director of public policy division and staff liaison to the government relations section. He also spent six years with the grassroots lobbying firm of Bonner &
