Ralph Nappi is stepping down as president of the $10M-plus-revenue NPES—The Association for Suppliers of Printing, Publishing and Converting Technologies after leading the Reston, Va.-based organization for nearly 10 years.

Nappi joined NPES in 2006, having previously worked at the American Machine Tool Distributors’ Association for 19 years, including 12 years as the organization’s president. In addition to his current role as head of NPES, Nappi is president of the Graphic Arts Show Company and the Graphic Arts Education and Research Foundation, both of which are co-owned by the association. He will step down from both roles upon his resignation from NPES.

“After 10 years at the helm, it is time for NPES to find its next leader and for me to find my next passion.” Nappi said in a statement. “As we consider a new strategic planning process, it became apparent to me that this would be the right time to bring in a new executive.”
